Listed Buildings and Heathrow Airport
July 26th, 2008Everyone knows that buildings are Listed in order to preserve important buildings of architecture for the future. To anyone that owns one they know that to carry out work on a Listed building you must abide by srtict rules to keep the property in its original state. Even though this is often more costly and time consuming to comply with it is important to preserve these buildings. However knowing this is the case you might wonder why 18 Listed Buildings are going to be demolished to make way for the extra 2nd runway at Heathrow Airport. Where do the rules for Listed Buildings come into play?
